| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, January 27, 2018 <<< Raymond (Pete) Peterson passed away at his home in Lake Havasu City after a brief illness Jan. 10, 2018. He was born Oct. 30, 1930 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. At age 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. His stories were many. He loved to tell them to anyone who would listen. After his honorable discharge, he went back to Iowa. There he raised four sons Steve (Leslie) of Colorado, Rick, Roger (Connie) of Cedar Rapids and Randy of Lake havasu City. Pete retired from the Teamsters as a driver for King Concrete after 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and all seven siblings. Pete loved living in Havasu the last 20 years. His loving wife, Marlene, and little dog Chewie were at his side when he left us. |
