| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, January 27, 2018, page 5a Deanne Lewis, 66, born May 8, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, died Jan. 23, 2018, in Prescott, Arizona. Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC of Prescott Valley, Arizona, handled all arrangements. --------------------------- The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, April 29, 2018, page 6a Deanne Lewis (May 1951 - January 2018) embraced that she was the master of her fate. From dyslexia to advanced degrees in nursing, she was ever the educator and world traveler. Intelligence and a sense of humor allowed her to see beyond the obvious. Her studies of Florence Nightingale opened up the history of nursing and the necessity of objective data to form conclusions — bedrocks of her teaching and critical thinking skills. She took great joy in her friends and family. Deanne is survived by her much loved and respected children, son Seth (Kelly) and daughter Seree; as well as her four grandsons, Strad, Adam, Luke and Tyler. We will miss her unconquerable soul. She has returned to her origin in the stars. A Celebration of Deanne’s Life will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Willow Lake Ramada in Prescott.
