| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, January 28, 2018, page 7a Rev. Mary Todd-Pendergast (retired) passed away on Jan. 18, 2018. She was at home and with her family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 16, 1943. Mary was raised by her mother, Mabel Parlow Todd in Ashland, Wisconsin. Mary retired as a Lutheran Pastor. She was called to parishes as Head Pastor in Glendora and Long Beach, California. She then finished her career as an “Interim” Pastor, serving three Lutheran churches in Southern California. Before receiving a Masters in Divinity she worked as an operating room nurse at Milwaukee County and Torrance Memorial. Mary is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Sean and Kathleen; grandchildren, Chelsea and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Hagen; and brothers, Charles and John. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 7763 E. Long Look Drive, Prescott Valley, Arizona.
