| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, January 28, 2018, page 7a Faye Sutton, having lived her life to the very fullest, went to rest in the arms of the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018. Faye was mother to Nadine, Harold, Joseph and Terry; Nana to Jonathon, James and Joey, Sarah and Ashley, Tyler and Ali, and Joshua; Sister to Harold, Debby, Penny, Greg and Karla; Favorite Aunt to Shannon, Noreen, Jared and Josh. Faye devoted her time and love to her family, and she greeted everyone she met with understanding and open arms, creating a family tree whose branches extended beyond measure. The blankets she made are considered treasures by all who received them and, like her generosity in all things, brought warm comfort to everyone she knew. She lived her life humbly and never boasted, but being the first of a dozen female prison guards in Arizona was among her many accomplishments. She was the very definition of love to those that knew her, a cactus flower defying the harshness of the desert around her, and she will be missed more than words can express. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
Note: These obituaries are transcribed as published and are submitted by volunteers who have no connection to the families. They do not write the obituaries and have no further information other than what is posted within the obituaries. We do not do personal research. For this you would have to find a volunteer who does this or hire a professional researcher.
