| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, April 19, 2015 <<< Gladys Seaman, 97, formerly of Kingman and Lake Havasu City, died April 11, 2015 in Casa Grande. Gladys was born July 17, 1917, in La Center, Wash., to John and Gyda Hanson. Gladys and her husband Paul moved to Kingman from Carmichael, Calif. after retirement. She worked as a keypunch operator for many years before retirement. They enjoyed exploring the desert and the rivers of Northern California prospecting for gold. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; one son, Rick and stepdaughter Colleen; three brothers, James, Alfred, Harold and a sister, Mildred. She is survived by sons, Roger (Janice) of Yuba City, Calif., Keith (Donna and granddaughter Stacey) of Casa Grande, Ariz., Tim (Kathy) of Springfield, Va., five grandsons and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces Karin Rhodes, Melanie Ehret and nephew Ron Smith. A celebration of life service will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at United Methodist Church of Casa Grande. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Compassus or Pinal County Animal Shelter. Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. |
