Madelyn Ruth Jones passed away suddenly, April 9, 2015 in Lake Havasu
City, surrounded by her family and friends. Madge was born in Assyria,
Mich., to Victor and Bernace Jones, June 25, 1928. She graduated from

then moved to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in Munising, Mich. where she
opened a craft and antique store. She was president of the Women’s
Auxiliary for the Wetmore Fire Department for several years, running
the Smorgasbord, their largest fundraiser. Upon her retirement she
moved to Lake Havasu City, and traveled extensively. She was most
proud of the fact she had visited all fifty states and several
countries.
