James Austin Gunnell

James Austin Gunnell, 18, passed away July 27, 2014 in Lake Havasu
City. He was born Jan. 7, 1996 in Whittier, Calif. to Gary and Cecilia
(Peters) Gunnell.

James loved to skateboard, play guitar and experiment with various
forms of art, including photography, drawing and sculpting.

He enjoyed being involved in and donating his time every year at the
Haunted Halloween House locally. James had a wonderful sense of humor
and a pure heart that touched all of those around him.

The lives that he touched were many — more than he will ever know. He
will be deeply missed and loved by his family and friends.

James is survived by his father, Gary (Hiroe) Gunnell of Lake Havasu
City; mother, Cecilia; uncles, Billy (Kesha), Steven and Marty;
grandmother, MarLynn; sister, Leah (Brandon); brothers, Dean and Noah;
nephew, Benson; aunt, Wendi (Dan); cousins, Will, Clayton, Dallon and
M’Lyn; beloved cat, Frankie and the family dog Molly; as well as many
numerous family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Gunnell.

A celebration of James’ life will be at The Lake Havasu Center for
Spiritual Living, 2041 Swanson Avenue, , at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April
25 with the Rev. Tom Rose officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations to the
family for expenses.

Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory,
veteran and family owned.
