Carmella Marie (Benedetti) Scotellaro

Carmella Marie Scotellaro passed away at 92 years of age, March 11,
2015 in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Josephine Moffo and Santo
Benedetti in Amsterdam, Ohio, Sept. 21, 1922; she was the oldest of
seven children. She lived in Kalamazoo, Mich. before becoming a
resident of Lake Havasu City in 1982.

Carmella loved her family and was fortunate enough to enjoy time with
four great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and also loved to
golf, once having a hole-in-one during league play. She enjoyed many
friendships, sharing card games and birthday luncheons with many
friends in her 33 years in this city.

Carmella was preceded in death by two husbands, George Kish Sr. (died
1985), Vincent Scotellaro (died 2010); and her two brothers, Pete and
Frank.

Carmella is survived by her son, George Kish, Jr. of Kalamazoo, Mich.;
brothers, Ben Benedetti of Detroit, Mich. and Robert Benedetti of
Inkster, Mich.; sisters, Teresa Del Col of Sun Lakes, Ariz. and Rose
Sutherland of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren, Tim and Brianne;
four great-grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Lydia and Jackson.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.

A mass in her honor will be at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 9, at Our Lady
of the Lake on Daytona Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Havasu in
her name.
