| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 <<< Thomas Nickolas Sadler, 87, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home in Lake Havasu City. He was born on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1927 in Eagle Grove, Iowa to Nickolas and Mildred (Lanahan) Sadler. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy as Seaman First Class and was honorably discharged. He married his wife, Shirley Jean Fisher, June 2, 1958 in Eagle Grove and together they had three daughters. Thomas enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting, fishing and golfing. Thomas and Shirley moved to Lake Havasu City 27 years ago, coming from Eagle Grove, Iowa, where he lived for 61 years. He will be deeply missed and always loved. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Shirley Sadler of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Shelly, Tomajean and Lana; grandchildren, Amanda, Trevor and Dominick and one great-granddaughter, Gianna. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. Services will take place at a later date. Condolences can be sent directly to the family or through www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
