Caroline Delaney, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on
Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at age 86, surrounded by her family.

Born to Alfred DelGatto and Frances De Guard, in Bronx, New York,
where she was raised the oldest of five siblings. She married Edward
Delaney, her beloved husband of 63 years and moved to Deer Park, New
York, where they raised their two children. She worked in education,
at the junior high school her children attended. Her family always
joked that while her children went on to finish college, she never
left the junior high.

She retired and moved with her husband to Lake Havasu City in 1987,
enjoying the Arizona warmth and sunshine. She was an avid golfer, and
made many wonderful friends playing golf and lunching with the girls.
Caroline was a longtime member of the Lake Havasu Yacht Club, where
she enjoyed her friends and the many social activities there.

Caroline was a wonderful cook and loved gathering with her family for
holidays and special occasions.

Caroline is survived by her loving husband, Edward; children, Craig
(Joan) Delaney, and Kathryn Delaney, both of Newport Coast,
California; siblings, Francine, Carol, Rita, Freddie, and Gail.

Caroline was a wonderful wife, mother and friend who will deeply
missed by the many who knew and loved her.
