CORDES, Karl

Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory -

Karl Cordes, 77, passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ. on Friday, 
December 09, 2005. He was born on July 14, 1928 in Germany to Hermann 
and Sophie Cordes.

Karl moved to Lake Havasu City 12 years ago from Arcadia,California, 
where he lived for 23 years. He was a machinist for Jet Propulsion 
Laboratory in California in the Aerospace Industry for 26 years before 
his retirement. He married Helga Cordes on November 17, 1951 in 
Germany. Karl was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His 
favorite activities included fishing and golf. Karl loved life and was 
always smiling. He loved to talk and would strike up a conversation 
with everyone he met.

Karl is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helga Cordes of Lake Havasu 
City, AZ.; daughter, Michelle (Brian) Suggs and grandchildren, Steven, 
Kelsey and Connor Suggs.
