EGGERS, Dorothy B.

Published by: Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery, Las Vegas, Nevada Dorothy B. Eggers, 94, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away August 13, 2014. She was born June 21, 1920 in Indiana. She married her best friend, Cliff, who passed away January 23, 2004. Together they were self-employeed business people before they retired. For the next eight years they enjoyed their retirement RV'ing before settling in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In 2007, Dorothy moved to North Las Vegas, where she lived with her daughter until her passing. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff; mother, Lydia Davis; father, John Gray; stepfather; brothers: Alvin Gray, James Gray (Opal), Donald Gray (Marge), and Charles Davis; brother-in-law, Hobby Holloway; and sisters: Lucille Peters (Leo), Helen Vanhorn-Davis (James), and Marge Humphrey. She is survived by her daughter, Dee Button; son, Keith Eggers (Linda); two granddaughters: Lynsie Hires (Bob) and Kimberly Bostwick (Frank); two great-granddaughters: Jordyn & Savannah Hires; future (Oct) great- granddaughter Alena Bostwick; sister, Eileen Holloway; brother-in-law, Bob Humphrey; sister-in-law, Lillian Davis; many nieces, nephews, and friends; especially Terri Younce, Rosemary Allen, Sharon and Bob Webber, Floyd Barton, Jean Jones, Doug and Donna Button, and Dr. William Jacks. Dorothy will be laid to rest privately.
