| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 <<< Mary Lou Louise Porter passed at 89 years of age, March 26, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. She was born to George and Lizzie Chace in Bradford County, Pa., May 11, 1925. She was wed to Lloyd Uel Porter, Aug. 18, 1947 in Baltimore; they were married for 67 years and enjoyed many years of private flying together, with Mary Lou as her husband’s co- pilot/navigator. She was an automotive parts business owner with her husband for 30 years and retired to Arizona from California in 1985. She enjoyed sewing, travel, friends and family. She volunteered at the Lake Havasu Regional Hospital. Mary Lou is survived by her husband Lloyd Porter of Lake Havasu City. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lizzie Chace. Her smiling, upbeat personality will be missed. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
