Grifford Russell Kelly Born in Petosky, Michigan on May 28, 1920. Departed on June 20, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Grifford Russell Kelly, 84, of Cottonwood died June 20. He was born May 28, 1920 in Petoskey, Michigan. He was an Army veteran of World war II where he recieved a bronze star. Mr. Kelly retired from the Maricopa School District. He was a skilled stone and brick mason for many years. An avid collector of antique clocks and radios, Mr. Kelly was also a Past Commander and Life Member of the VFW, and was also a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Kelly; a son, Michael Kelly, Memphis, Tenn.; daughter Marsha Kelly, Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister Dolly Chance, Grand Rapids, Mich.; five grandchildren, four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
