| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, February 3, 2018 <<< Michael John Hamm, 73, passed away Dec. 24, 2017. He had a massive heart attack as he was getting ready for a Christmas Eve celebration. Michael leaves behind two daughters, Jodi Hamm Lawrence and Holly Hamm Malucci, two grandsons, Gregary and Maurizio, and one granddaughter, Cyann, as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Loren Wells. Michael had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He was a truck driver for over 30 years and always stopped to pick up a toy that was left by the road. He liked to give a toy away whenever he could. He was generous to a fault and there was never a question about offering to lend a hand. He was crazy about his pets, a Yorkie named Mutley and a cat named Peewee. He would be very happy to know that his pets are in the loving homes of two of his dearest friends. Michael loved to visit and paid his bills in person each month. His family heard from so many people who had wonderful things to say about him – he was funny, loving, kind-hearted and always there if you needed him. Michael will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life is Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Golden Horseshoe, 4501 London Bridge Road, 3-5:30 pm. Please bring your stories to share. He would have loved that! |
