Sylvia Mae Waller, age 84, passed away on December 2, 2015 in
Phoenix, AZ. Sylvia was born in Brighton, TN on June 30, 1931. She
married Charles J. Waller on April 21, 1950. They were always at
each other's side for 65 years.

Sylvia is survived by her husband, Charles, her daughters Yvonne
Symmonds (Larry) and Debbie Davis (Dennis). Grandchildren: Richard
Symmonds, Kerry Symmonds (Nygaard), Scott Davis (Denise) and Jeff
Davis. Great-grandchildren: Nathan Symmonds, Ashley Symmonds, Ryan
Davis and Rachel Davis. Great-great-grandchild: Alayna Nygaard.
Nana was born in Tennessee, raised by her grandparents for years on
the Mississippi River. She picked cotton and worked in a restaurant
putting herself through high school. She was so determined to
succeed in life, she graduated high school in only 3 years. In her
last year of high school she met the love of her life (Charles) and
they married in Oceola, Arkansas. After flood water over came the
crops, they proceeded to Phoenix, AZ with their 2 daughters to start
a new life in August 1958.

She loved bingo and going to the ocean. She loved Holidays with the
grandkids and any moment she could spend with family. Nana loved
going out for coffee and Belgian waffles. She loved Richard's
omelets at home (Not to mention her chocolates!!) and loved making
her cherry cheesecake.

Mom/Nana was the rock of our family and dedicated every moment she
could to us. She was truly loved and will be missed by us all.
