Gerard Hunkins, 72, born July 15, 1945, in Chelsea, Massachusetts,
died
Jan. 22, 2018, in Paulden.

Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC of Chino Valley, Arizona, handled
all arrangements.

Gerard Michael Hunkins, 72, resident of Paulden, Arizona, after a
courageous battle with cancer, passed away at his home on Jan. 22,
2018. Gerard was born in USNH Chelsea, Massachusetts, raised in
Manchester, New Hampshire, served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS
Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31), and after his enlistment he worked at
MCAS El Toro until his retirement in 1996.

Gerard was one of seven children born to the late Francis and
Catherine Hunkins. He was preceded in death by brothers, Bradley,
Frank, Tony and Jim; and sister, Marie.

Gerard was the beloved husband of Linda for over 37 years and will
forever be lovingly remembered by his children, Richard, Brian, and
Michael; treasured grandchildren, Brandie, Samantha, Natalie, Emily,
John, Noah and Liliana; caring in-laws, Serena, Kelly and Karen;
along with countless other friends and family, whom were blessed to
know him.

Gerard loved listening to classical music, talking, laughing, being
with his family and having fun with friends. He touched the lives of
many people with his smile and generosity.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1
p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at 441 W. Perkinsville Road, Chino
Valley, Arizona.

All arrangements entrusted to Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC of
Chino Valley, Arizona.
