| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, February 4, 2018, page 6a Denis H. Harger was born Nov. 13, 1953, in Indiana to Eloise and Henry Harger. In 1954, his family moved to Prescott, Arizona. On Jan. 16, 2018, Denis passed away, with loving family members by his side. Denis was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Henry, Ruthann, Gary, Carroll and Rebecca. He is survived by his long-time companion, Jean Gorslin; and his children, Robert Petersen, Michael Harger, Brandi (KC) Cooley and Christine Tahmazian. He was the proud grandpa of 11 and one-great- grandchild. Denis is also survived by his sisters, Kae (Chuck) Warner and Deborah Ellis-Fairburn; brother, Donnie (Sheri) Harger; and many nieces and nephews and their children. Denis worked for DES in Payson, Globe and Show Low for most of his career, helping others, and where his friends and coworkers enjoyed his terrific sense of humor and fierce loyalty. He retired in 2015. Denis was passionate about camping, fishing, baseball and woodworking, sharing his talents and love with family. There will be a celebration of his life at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, in Gisela (outside of Payson). Please call Darla at 928- 978-3539 for information.
