| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, February 4, 2018, page 6a Leo A. Purcell was born on Oct. 23, 1933, in Dublin, Ireland. Leo served in the U.S. Navy, which he fondly referred to as “The President’s Yacht Club.” He was a successful businessman, a member of Smoki, a life member of the Sharlot Hall Museum, and a committed member of the Arizona Democrats. Leo was dedicated to his family. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, four children and seven grandchildren. Gifts, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. And the speed limit is still 5 m.p.h. Information provided by survivors. |
