Jesse "Duane" Davis, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on June
15, 2017. He was born on June 4, 1932 in Topeka, Kansas to his parents
Dwight and Eula Davis. He was 85 years of age.

Duane had a great love for his country and was proud to have served in
the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

After serving his country, he came back home to Kansas where he met
his future wife, Patricia Van Eaton. They fell in love the first time
they danced and have been dancing through life together ever since.
From the first dance, it was pure magic! They were married on February
15, 1958 and shared 59 magical and blessed years together.

Duane and Patricia also shared five children, of which Duane made his
priority, mentoring not only his sons in their shared passion for
sports and the outdoors, but also by living the example of taking
pride in your work, community and above all, family. Throughout his
life Duane enjoyed creating and landscaping outdoor living spaced
specifically designed to be enjoyed by his family and found much
satisfaction in retirement tending to his palms and desert landscape
in Lake Havasu. His greatest joy was his family and he will be truly
missed by all that knew and loved him.

While Duane was family first, he had over 40 years in a career as an
Operations Manager of water and sewer districts in Colorado and
California. It was a career he enjoyed and was proud to have been part
of regularly being asked to speak at water summits and symposiums on
the business of water. His gold plated and engraved water valve he
received at retirement said it all…."Whiskey is for Drinking and Water
is for Fighting."

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Eula Davis;
daughter, Laura Lea Thomas and granddaughter, Tess Leanne Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Davis; son, Jesse
(Hamideh) Davis, Jay (Robin) Davis, Jeffry (Marie) Davis; daughter,
Dee Dee Davis; sisters, Dwila Randall and Vonna Lunsway; six
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
