Allen H. Bence 81, passed away on October 20th, 2002 in Lake Havasu
City, Az. He was born on November 14th, 1920 in Watertown, WI; to
Allen and Peg "Rhodes" Bence.

Allen moved to Lake Havasu City, Az., 30 years ago from Milwaukee, WI.
He worked as a police officer for the Milwaukee Police Dept. for 26
years. He also worked as a dispatcher for Mohave County Sheriff,
London Bridge Golf Course maintence and worked for McCulloch Corp. for
10 years.

Allen enjoyed gardening, football with the Packers as his favorite
team.He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Maria T. Bence of
Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Penny Wilson of Covina, CA; 3
grandchildren, Rich, Debbie, Rick; 3 great grandchildren, Joshua,
Christopher, Shannon and 1 great great granchild, sister Janet and
nephews Bob and Mike and 2 grandnephews and grandnieces, niece Shirley
and grandnephews Dick, Jeff, Mark and grandniece Debbie; 14 great
grandnephew and great grandnieces; nephew Donald and wife Joanne and
grandnieces Kathy, Wanda, Gail and grandnephew Steven, 5 great
grandnephews and great grandnieces;nephew Carl and grandnephews Brian,
Gary Kenny John and grandniece Tammy, and 9 great grandnephews and
great grandnieces; niece Rachel and grandnephews Timothy, David and 5
great grandnephews and great grandnieces; nephew Bruce and wife Mary,
grandnephew Craig and grandnieces Wendy, Nicolle and 4 great
grandnephews and great grandnieces; preceded in death by sisters Janet
Kuhr, Mae Ebert and nephew Ted and niece Rita.

A memorial services will be held on Friday, November 1st, 2002, 4:00
P.M. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Rounds officiating.Contributions
may be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az.
