Norma Soto, 82, passed away in her son Daniel’s arms in Lake Havasu
City April 30, 2016.

She was born in Santiago, Chile on April 15, 1934.

Norma grew up in Chile and came to America with her mother by way of
cargo ship when she was 19 years old. This is where she met her true
love, Francisco Soto, a Cuban immigrant who had escaped to America
just a few weeks prior.

They met and fell in love in New York and were married just three
months later on Oct. 19, 1962. They shared a life filled with love for
almost 50 years when Francisco was called to be with the Lord in 2012.

Sewing, knitting and cooking were some of the things Norma liked to
do. She also had her favorite TV shows she enjoyed watching. She got a
kick out of giving her boys a hard time and family was the most
important thing to her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother
who led by example and created a strong foundation of family values to
be carried on.

Norma is survived by her sons Daniel (Jennifer) Soto and Frank
(Onelia) Soto of Lake Havasu City, her grandchildren Kelcy, Frankie,
Xavier, Iris, Sarai and Robert and one great-granddaughter, Hallie.
She also leaves behind her little Yorkie, Morgan.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Norma’s family at www.lietz-
frazefuneralhome.com.
