Lake Havasu City, AZ: Karl Max Rubenstein born 3/16/1941 in
Canandaigua, NY, passed on Oct. 1, 2014. Preceded in death by his
parents Karl L. & S. Isabel (Rilands), brother Richard and son
Kristopher. He is survived by his family; sisters Barbara (late

Holli (Chad), Blake & Brooke (CA), Sean & Addison (NY) and great
grandchildren: Mackenzi, Ty & Gwen (CA), many nieces & nephews and
"Kitty Cat".

Karl, Karl with a "K", Karl Max, Max, son, brother, Dad, Grampa,
Great-Grampa (GG before he knew it) and friend was a simple, light-
hearted, fun, gentle, yet contentious man. He grew up in Holcomb, NY,
Graduated Bloomfield Central High School 1960, attended Nicols College
& Univ. of Buffalo '60-63. Was employed at MIC; Rochester NY,
Rochester Telephone, Co-Owner service station, manager JO Cook Inc
gasway, Holcomb NY. Raised his family in upstate and after visiting
Havasu in the early 70's, ended up settling in Havasu early 90's.

So much to say, so little space: Mr. Blue Eyes, leftie, loyal to
Raybans and Old Spice, game lover but sore loser, card games, dice or
ping pong matches, latest greatest gadgets, Big Boy toys and trinkets,
containers for everything, loved to tinker, mechanically inclined,
lover of fast cars and fast boats, '55 '57 '61 '69 to name a few,
favorite number was 36-24-36, enjoyed sunsets, a well done burger &
fries, sweet indulgences, M&Ms, TicTacs, sweet pickles, picnics,
holidays with family, turkey leftovers, lunch with the guys, car
shows, practical jokes, good banter, Corkey dogs and giraffes, was a
teddy bear himself, huggable; a gentle, smart, kind-hearted man.

Dad, you chose a bachelor's life, but were never alone. You were
surrounded with a richness that is priceless; true friendships and
genuine love from your family. You were a fun-loving family man and
memories prove that. We will all miss you more than words can say. You
endured more than your share; dialysis etc. You amazingly proved just
how strong you were these last few years and we are in awe of the
strength you had. You are now burden free and cruising with the best.
Love you always, Your Little Girl, Sissy (Kimmy).

A "Simple Celebration" will be held in Karl's honor Sat., Oct. 11th,
4:00 pm at his home: 3478 Regal Lane, Lake Havasu. Please wear "Casual
Karl" attire/hot rod tees. And next summer, we will take you home to
Bloomfield and remember you there.

And Thank you to all who assisted Dad/Karl in living his life, his
way, as he wanted in Havasu.

In lieu of flowers, Dad so hoped to see the new raceway, to help
Havasu see that vision donations may be given to: London Bridge
Raceway Park-Denny Cissell.
