| Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, November 3, 1909, page 8, column 2 News In Brief - Laid To Rest The remains of Mrs. Katie O'Neil Dolan, the wife of Patrick Dolan, were laid to rest yesterday afternoon under the auspices of the Catholic church, of which during her life she was a devoted member. In her many years' residence in this county, her memory will be cherished for the many kind acts she was blessed with to the needy and and her generous consideration toward the many miners in the camps she was located in will be recalled by the hundreds who received the generous assistance that characterized her life for over twenty years spent in this county. Mrs. Dolan was a splendid woman and her death is followed by sincere expressions of sorrow from all and especially so the men who make up the life of the early territory. Transcriber's note: Mrs. Donlan is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. See Also: Arizona Gravestone Photo Project |
