Mary (Joan) Farrell, 85, of Lake Havasu City passed away on Feb. 3, 
2018 after a short illness.

Joan was born in Boston. She eventually moved to Los Angeles where she 
retired as a hospital admitting clerk. After retiring, she became 
involved in the hospice industry. She attended Loyola Marymount 
University in Los Angeles and received her hospice management 
certificate.

Joan later moved to Roosevelt, Utah and wintered in Havasu for many 
years. She moved to Arizona permanently in 2013.

Joan is survived by her only child, Thomas Farrell of Florida. No 
services will be held and her ashes will be scattered at sea.
