| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2015 - Vietnam War veteran, Bruce Fergueson, 62, passed away March 19, 2015. His death was unexpected and a great loss to family, friends, and all who knew him. Originally from La Puente, Calif. he and his family moved to Lake Havasu City in 1995. He was the service manager at the Lake Havasu Marina until it closed, member of Eagles and American Legion, as well as a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a loving husband and father. Bruce is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughters, Sandra and Jessica; granddaughter, Annelle; brother, Tom; and the most amazing friends anyone could ever have. A true jack-of-all-trades. Bruce served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1974 during the Vietnam War. He returned home and worked at Ball Glass Company for 20 years before moving to Havasu where he became a boat mechanic. He built his own motorcycle, repaired his own vehicles, and could do anything he set his mind to. He wasn’t the kind of man to smile a lot or talk very much, but he was a good listener and loyal friend. He was always there when you needed him and was often known to render assistance to complete strangers. He was a truly rare and amazing man. He will be missed beyond words. Now Bruce is riding his motorcycle in heaven tearing across the clouds and free to go whenever and wherever he wants. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
