| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Sunday, March 22, 2015 - James Wesley Giddings passed away at 79 years of age on March 16, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Ebert and Martha Giddings in Riverside, Calif., Aug. 31, 1935. James married Cecile Marie in Quartzite; they were married for 49 years. James lived in Washington for 30 years and in Arizona for 13 years. He graduated from Poly High in Riverside, Calif. and graduated in 1975 from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. James was employed in Washington where he pursued his career in law enforcement. He enjoyed NASCAR races and Cardinals football. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. James is survived by his wife, Cecile Giddings of Lake Havasu City; sons, Troy Giddings of Sedro-Woolley, Wash. and Ty Giddings of Asheville, N.C.; a brother, Earl Giddings of Yucaipa, Calif.; sisters, Pearl Pratt of Blythe, Calif. and Darleen Giddings of Riverside, Calif.; as well as two grandchildren, Brianna Giddings and Trevor Giddings. The funeral service will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518 at 1:45 p.m., March 26.
