ERN, Donna Beryl

Kerrville Daily Times, Kerrville, Texas Friday, October 8, 1999, page 6a Of Scottish and Irish descent, Dona Beryl Ern was born Nov. 7, 1907, in Miami, Okla. (in the Indian Territory of the Five Civilized Tribes) to John Henry Nimmo and Eddith nee Craig Nimmo. She married Harold William Ern in Prescott, Ariz., in 1923. Dona met her Lord at the appointed time on Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, and was gently led home. A charter member of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Kerrville, Dona was baptized and confirmed by the late Dr. Arthur C. Repp in June of 1939, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in San Antonio. Her church family of friends became and remained her great joy and comfort. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold William Ern, two infant children and son, Stanley John Ern, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and John Peterson; Cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and treasured neighbors and friends. Memorial services will be at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Kerrville at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9. Family graveside services will be held at a later date in Pawnee, Texas For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Hosanna Lutheran Church Building Fund, Peterson Hospice, or to a favorite charity.
