| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 >>> Aug. 7, 1929 – Feb. 7, 2018 <<< Carol June Clopton passed away peacefully Feb. 7, 2018 at home with her husband Keith and their son Jonny by her side. Carol had been battling dementia for many years. Carol was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She became a hairdresser in 1955 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She moved to California in 1969 and became a residential property manager until retiring in 1994. Carol moved to Lake Havasu City in August 1994. In 1996, she opened Nana & Co., a clothing store. She sold the store in 1999 and went into official retirement. Carol loved helping people. She took in stray people like some people take in stray pets. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be terribly missed by her family and friends as well as anyone who knew her. Carol is survived by her husband Keith of 57 years, her four children, Ron of Corona, California; Cartha and Mike of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jonny of Westminster, California, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family thanks everyone at Hospice of Havasu, and also Elizabeth and Angel of Clean/Care & More. No service is planned. |
