Robert “Bob” Angus Conklin Jr., was born in Newark, New Jersey, on
Dec. 17, 1941. He grew up in Belleville, New Jersey, with his
parents, Robert Sr. and Katherine, and his sisters, Phyllis and
Shirley.
Bob graduated from Belleville High School in 1960, and spent four
years in the Air Force in Roswell, New Mexico, as a Dental
Assistant. He met his wife, JoAnn, and they married in September
1967. They raised two daughters, Tamara and Wendy, and were active

Patterson Dental until he retired in 2007 and moved to Arizona.
In September 2017, Bob and JoAnn celebrated 50 years of marriage
with family and friends. He was deeply rooted in his faith, and
