He grew up in Belleville, New Jersey, with his parents, Robert Sr. and Katherine, and his sisters, Phyllis and Shirley. Bob graduated from Belleville High School in 1960, and spent four years in the Air Force in Roswell, New Mexico, as a Dental Assistant. He met his wife, JoAnn, and they married in September 1967. They raised two daughters, Tamara and Wendy, and were active in the community and their church. Bob loved to perform magic, listen to Doo Wops, and create music and emcee for his karaoke business. He worked in dental sales with Patterson Dental until he retired in 2007 and moved to Arizona. In September 2017, Bob and JoAnn celebrated 50 years of marriage with family and friends. He was deeply rooted in his faith, and loved to share his love for Jesus Christ with everyone he met. Bob passed away on Feb. 9, 2018, surrounded by his family and pastor. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; his daughters, Tamara and Wendy; his sons-in-law, Richard and James; his grandchildren, Alexia, Ruth, Jon and Abby; his cousins, Roland Smith and Bruce Gould, and extended family throughout the U.S. Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Homes & Crematory assisted the family with final arrangements.
