Jimmie Dale “Jim” Cline was born in Crane, Missouri, on June 17,
1935, and went home to the Lord on Feb. 12, 2018.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Mary Cline; son, Jay (Barb)
Cline; daughters, Joni Harris, Sherry (Russ) Hoover; four
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Marguerite Cline,
and his stepson, Jay Adams.

Jim spent much of his life in Southern California, working in
aerospace design and graphics, furniture retail, a college
instructor in mechanical drawing, and interior home design.

After retiring, Jim and Mary moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 1993,
where he pursued a successful career as an artist; his studio was
named Thumb Butte Art Studio. Jim worked in many styles with varied
subjects, and was proficient in all art mediums, but sculpting and
watercolor were his favorites. Jim’s art was shown at several
galleries in Prescott and Wickenburg, and he was an active member of
the Southwestern Artist Association for many years.

Jim was known for his sense of humor, willingness to always help
others, and his love for rescuing animals. He enjoyed photography,
bowling and golf.

The family wishes to thank the teams at Synergy Homecare and
Maggie’s Hospice for the great care they provided the last few weeks
of Jim’s life.
