Howard S. Ragan, of Chino Valley, Arizona, beloved husband, father
and papa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018,
surrounded by family.

A warm, fun-loving and devoted family man, true patriot and
Christian, Howard served his country in the Air Force for 20 years
before retiring to his birth state of Arizona. Howard enjoyed
nothing better than spending time reminiscing with his family,
telling stories and traveling tirelessly to wherever any of his
grandchildren were playing a sport that day. Howard loved spending
time with people, and if you thought of him as a friend, he most
certainly thought of you as family.

Howard is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Gribble), of 45 years;
sons, Toby Edward and Tadd Eric, and their wives, Michelle (Quinn)
and Alison (Powell); grandchildren, Kyle, Collin, Kaylee, Carlin,
Katie, Tyler and AJ; great-grandson, Cayden; many extended family
members and countless friends.

Howard’s absence is a huge loss keenly felt by all who knew him. He
will always be remembered with fondness, warm laughter and love.
Howard’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to
all the wonderful hospice staff at Marley House, in Prescott.

Services for Howard are being held on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018;
Christian Funeral at 10 a.m., at First Evangelical Lutheran Church,
231 W. Smoke Tree Lane, Prescott; Military Memorial at 11:30 a.m.,
Prescott National Cemetery, 500 N. Highway 89, Prescott.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Marley House, Prescott
Arizona, Phoenix Children’s hospital, or your favorite charity in
