Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 - Gary Arthur Day passed away at 60 years of age, March 4, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Carolyn Opal and Garland Ennis Day, Feb. 19, 1955 in Gardena, Calif. Gary was wed to Valerie Faith in Manhattan Beach, Calif.; they were married for 36 years. Gary has lived in Yuma, Ariz., Hermosa Beach, Calif. and Lake Havasu City. He enjoyed fishing and he liked to go out to eat. He loved the two family dogs, Moondoggy and Cheyenne. Gary is survived by his wife, Valerie Day of Lake Havasu City; mother, Carolyn Wilson of San Diego, Calif.; brother, David Day of Cleburne, Texas; sisters, Debbie Palmer of Yuma, Ariz., Rosemary of Tache, Ariz.; and his uncle, H.D. Day. A Memorial Service will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 13 at Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
