| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, September 13, 2000, page 5a Esther Duarte Esther Duarte, 84, of Prescott, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Prescott, to Guadelupe and Frances (Espinoza) Gallegos. Mrs. Rodarte graduated from Prescott High School. She married Crispin Rodarte on Jan. 10, 1936. She was a life-long member of Sacred Hert Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing canasta. Her family knew her as an extremely devoted wife, mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy was her family. Surviving her are her husband, Crispin, sons, Rick of Scottsdale, and Louis of Phoenix; daughters, Teresa Resser and Delores Roach, both of Prescott; brothers, Ralph and Richard Gallegos, both of Tucson; sister, Henrietta Rodarte of Prescott; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury, Prescott, with the Rev. Joseph Gamm, C.M.F. officiating. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fred LeClaire, C. M. E. officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, 917 E. Gurley, Prescott, AZ. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.
