| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, April 10, 1996, page 5a Joe Gallegos Joe G. Gallegos, 70, died Monday, April 8, 1996, at Columbia Hospital in Phoenix. He was born July 12, 1925 in Prescott to Guadelupe and Frances (Espinoza) Gallegos. Mr. Gallegos worked for forty years as an accountant for Motor Supply Co., in Phoenix. He was a graduate of Arizona State University. He was in the US Army during WW II serving in the Rhineland from November 1943 to May 1946. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He loved gardening and enjoyed music, especially classical. Although he was a bachelor he shared family pride in his many nieces and nephews. Survivors include his sisters, Esther Rodarte and Henrietta Rodarte, both of Prescott; brothers, Ernest Gallegos of Prescott and Ralph and Dick Gallegos, both of Tucson; many nieces, nephews and cousins and his life-long friend, George Gann. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carlton streets. There will be a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be said at 11:30 Friday, April 12, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury. The Rev. Fred LeClaire will officiate. Concluding services will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
