Guadalupe R. Gallegos

Guadalupe R. Gallegos died Friday, March 30, 1984, at Yavapai
Community Hospital. He was 92. He was born Dec. 12, 1891, in
Mexico, the son of Calistro and Francisca Rodriguez Gallegos.

He moved to Arizona in 1912, and worked at the Owl Drug Store in
Prescott for 30 years. He later worked at the Eagle Drug Store and
at Barrow's Furniture Store.

Mr. Gallegos was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Frances; four sons, Joe and
Ernie, both of Phoenix, Ralph of San Antonio, Texas, and Dick of
Tucson; two daughters, Henrietta and Esther of Prescott; 16
grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart. Mass of the
Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. The Rev.
Francis Ambrosi, C. M. F., will officiate.

The family requests contributions to Catholic Social Service, 116 N.
Summit St., Prescott; or to the American Cancer Society, for
research, 1030 Scott Dr., Prescott.

Arizona Ruffner Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
