| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Friday, February 27, 2015 - Marion Louise Hingst died unexpectedly of health complications in Havasu Regional Medical Center, Feb. 25, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, at the awesome age of 90. Marion is survived by her two daughters, Murine (Don) Gray of Moab, Utah and Nancy (Bill) Wenner of Lake Havasu City; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Duane H. Hingst of 56 years and her six brothers and one sister. Marion was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Elbow Woods, N.D. to Halvor and Anna Peterson, the last of eight children. She graduated from Flaxton High School, Flaxton, N.D. She married Duane, her high school sweetheart in 1944. They made their home in Aurora, Colo. for 35 years, with a vacation home they built in 1972 in Breckenridge, Colo. before moving to Lake Havasu City in 1984. A funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marion's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Disabled Veterans or a charity of your choice. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
