Robert Charles O'Brien, 92, passed away on January 5, 2016 in Lake
Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Charles and Bess O'Brien on March
14, 1923 in Antigo, Wisconsin. Bob met and married the love of his
life, Christina Strahler on March 31, 1956 in Bell, West Virginia;
they shared almost 60 loving years together. They had 8 children
together and led a full and happy life.

Bob served in the U.S. Army Air Force and he was a lifetime member of
the American Legion. He enjoyed playing golf and especially enjoyed
spending time with his family, grandchildren, and his puppy, Rollie.
They will all miss him very much.

Bob is survived by his wife, Christina O'Brien of Lake Havasu City,
AZ; his sons and daughters, Kathleen O'Brien of Phoenix, AZ, Jeanne
Baugh (Duane) of Chandler, AZ, Colleen Porter (Scott) of HI, Charleen
Degenhart (Roger) of Phoenix, AZ, Steven O'Brien of Lake Havasu City,
AZ, Wayne O'Brien of Palm Springs, CA, Bruce O'Brien (Kay) of Reno,
NV, Peggy Layman (Rick) of Lake Havasu City; 9 grandchildren and 2
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jane.

A rosary will be at 10:30 AM with a memorial mass at 11:00 AM at Our
Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Saturday, January 16. Military
honors will be at 12:30 PM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens followed by
a reception at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
