Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - William Donald Swansey, 77, passed away February 26, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Mary & William Burnett Swansey in Harvey, IL on August 13, 1927. Bill was a proud veteran with the US Marines during WWII, receiving many honors and was a member of the Marine Corp League. He retired from Mannington Mills in Chicago, IL prior to moving to Lake Havasu 22 years ago. Bill is survived by one son, William Lance Swansey and his wife Rebeca; two sisters, Lola Coulombe and her husband Thomas of Holland, IL, Linda Lybe and her husband Kenneth of Murpheesboro, TN; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by wife, Shirley "White" Swansey and son, John Michael Swansey. Bill was out-going and knew everyone everywhere he went. He will be missed deeply. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 12:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Deacon Dennis Froeming will officiate. Military honors will be presented by the Marine Corps League. A private interment will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
