| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, February 23, 2018, page 7a Rodger A. Proffitt, 64, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, on Aug. 4, 1953. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1972. Rodger and his dad owned and operated many auto parts stores in Prescott. He was the best parts guy ever! Rodger had a passion for racing. His final race was at God speed. He is preceded in death by his father, Max Proffitt. Rodger is survived by his mother, Rena Faye Proffitt; his daughter, Christina (AJ) Andrada; grandchildren, Madison, Kelsey and Calieb; his sister, Becky (Mike) Parrish; and companion, Sheri Morrison. A Celebration of Life will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Smoki Museum in Prescott. In lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness in Rodger’s honor.
