| Weekly Arizona Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 20, 1904, page 1, column 2 Suffering Is Passed Sunday morning, April 17, after a protracted illness, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Springer, wife of P. V. Springer, passed from this life to the great beyond. Her death was a welcome relief from a long struggle with cancer. Deceased was 75 years of age and leaves seven children by her first husband and four by her last to mourn the loss of mother. All of her first children are residents of the state of Missouri. Her last children are T. W. Springer, who resides in Prescott, J. M. Springer, of Needles, California, Mrs. Nellie B. Marker, of Congress, Arizona and Mrs. Mary S. Neill, of Clinton, Missouri. The wife of J. M. Springer, at Needles, is expected to arrive in Prescott this evening to attend the funeral, which will take place from the family residence, north of the Prescott Electric power house tomorrow at two o'clock p.m. under the direction of H. M. Maus & Co. Besides the above mentioned relatives, she leaves four brothers and three sisters to mourn her loss. She was a native of the state of Virginia and had resided in this place for a number of years and had many friends. -------------------------------------------- The Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, April 22, 1904, page 2, column 3 Mrs. Elizabeth A. Springer, a highly respected lady of this city, aged 75 years, died at her home in this city, Sunday, April 17, 1904. The funeral will take place from the family re3sidence in northwest Prescott at 2 p.m. today. She was the wife of P. V. Springer, a resident of this city. She leaves seven children by her first husband, all of whom reside in Missouri. She leaves four sons and two daughters by her second husband. They are P. V. Springer, a resident of this city, J. M. Springer, a resident of Needles; Mrs. Nellie Marker, a resident of Congress, Arizona, and a married daughter who resides in Clinton, Iowa. She leaves four brothers and three sisters.
