| The Arizona Republican, Phoenix, Arizona Territory Thursday, September 14, 1899, page 3, column 2 Arizona Day By Day - William Partridge, an old-time resided of Stanton, died in the county hospital yesterday morning, and was buried yesterday evening. Deceased had lived in and around Stanton since the early 'sixties,' occupying a cabin most of the time which he built in 1864. He was engaged in mining and was upwards of seventy years old. ---------------------------------------------------------- Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, September 15, 1899, page 2, column 7 Wm. Partridge, an Arizona pioneer, died in Prescott yesterday. He had been in failing health for some time. He was about 80 years old, had been engaged in mining in this county most of his life and owned some good property at the time of his death He was a very industrious man and a good citizen in all respects. Transcriber's note: Mr. Partridge is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. His headstone incorrectly gives his name as Patridge, not Partridge.
