Jeffrey spent a majority of his life in Prescott, spending his free time hunting, fishing and camping. When he was not in the woods, he could be found in the kitchen, listening to his favorite music and cooking for others, with a smile on his face. He always had a story to tell and never failed to help those he knew to the very best of his ability. A strong man with a good heart, who worked hard his whole life. He taught us that there was always something to do, and when done with family, it was done best. Jeffrey is survived by his childen, Joseph and Melissa; his father, Manuel Leyva Jr.; his brother, Carlos Leyva (Linda); his sister, Carmella Leyva; and his step-father, Don Smith. He was preceeded in death my his mother, Elizabeth Smith, in 2015 and nephew, Christian Leyva. Arrangements entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors.
