| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Saturday, March 17, 2018 - Casimir Tarnowski, 82, of Lake Havasu City, passed away March 3, 2018 with his wife by his side. Art was born on July 9, 1935, in New London, Connecticut, to Casimir and Elyse Tarnowski. Art graduated from Bacon Academy in Colchester. He moved to California in 1953 and joined the United States Army. He and Diane met in 1972 while he was working for Great Western Saving and Loan. In 1975, he was transferred to Santa Rosa, California. In 1979, he and Diane moved to Huntington Beach. In 1994, they moved to Lake Havasu City after Art retired from his career as a real estate loan manager for Home Savings and Loan. Art married his loving wife, Diane, Oct. 22, 1977 and spent 40 wonderful years together. He enjoyed reading, RVing and travelling. Art was preceded in death by his parents, Casimir Joseph and Elyse Tarnowski, and his sister, Anne Ives. Art is survived by his dear wife, Diane Tarnowski; stepsons Doug Jentzsch (Joanne) and Dave Jentzsch; stepdaughters Kathleen Parente- Davis (Todd), Cammie Jentzsch; 10 stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to Hospice of Havasu. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
