Theron "Tee" Nay

Theron “Tee” Nay passed away on Feb. 1, 2018 at Havasu Regional
Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Tee was born on Jan. 11,
1928 in Monroe, Utah to Eldred and Theo (Peterson) Nay. Tee served in
the United States Navy in World War II and was stationed at Pearl
Harbor following the attack. He met the love of his life, Beverly
Heap, and the two were married on June 15, 1947.

Tee worked at the San Bernardino City Yards and the San Bernardino
Fire Department for 17 years before relocating to Parker in 1971. Tee
and Beverly owned and operated Tee’s Auto-Marine Repair from May 1972
to 1999. Tee was an active member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
7061 and the Parker Elks Lodge BPOE 1929 where he was a member of the
Bull Shippers.

Tee is survived by his daughter Barbara Emilio and her husband, Ed, of
Alta Loma, Calif.; son A.J. Nay and his wife, Ruthie, of Long Beach,
Calif.; grandchildren A.J. Nay of Hollywood, Calif., Taylor DeVillbiss
of Santa Monica, Calif., Tracy Ornelas of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.;
and Kevin Lyons of San Bernardino, Calif.; great grandchildren Autumn
Ornelas, Ella, Jake and River Lyons, as well as extended family Mike
Barbour of San Bernardino, Calif., Darrell and Ima Walker of Ocotillo,
Calif., and Rena Jo Shelton of Avinger, Texas.

Tee was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Beverly.

A celebration of Tee’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday,
March 10, at the Sandbar Resort at Red Rock, 6400 Riverside Drive,
Campsite 32, in Parker. Military honors will be rendered by the Navy
Honor Guard from Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Arrangements were entrusted to Parker Funeral Home.
