Linda Ayre Gibbs was born on April 4, 1960 in Mercy Hospital in San 
Diego, Calif. She was the daughter of John E. and Virginia Ayre. She 
grew up in West Covina, Calif. and attended Gladstone High School. She 
worked in banking.

She moved to the Parker Dam area in 1993, where she worked as a 
waitress and bartender. She was married on Nov. 17, 2001.

She died Jan. 12, 2018 after an 18-month battle with cancer. She was 
surrounded by friends and family.

A service will be held at the Holiday Harbour Beach and Boat Launch at 
2 p.m., Saturday, March 10, with a gathering to follow at her home.
