Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 19, 1969, page 2, column 1 George Chant George E. Chant, born April 20, 1916, in Prescott, died Monday, February 17, at his home 724 E. Moeller. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Ruffner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Chant lived most of his life in Prescott and Kingman. He was a miner by occupation and an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his mother, Jennie Taylor, of Prescott and two sisters Mrs. Louise Davis of Ehrenberg and Mrs. Genevieve Bray, of LaHabra, California.
