Georgian Merle Morano passed away on March 19, 2018, at her home in 
Prescott, Arizona. She was 93. She was born on Jan. 25, 1925, in 
Chicago, Illinois, to George and Maude Pease. 

Georgian was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joseph; and 
all her siblings. She was the last surviving of nine children.

Georgian is survived by her daughter, Cate Bartle (Jim) of 
Sacramento, California; sons, Michael and David (Marilyn), both of 
Prescott; grandchildren, Daniel, Robin, Neal, Rachel, Samantha and 
Luke; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Carter; as well as numerous 
nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Georgian will be held at the Salvation Army 
Church located at 237 S. Montezuma St., in Prescott, Arizona, at 4 
p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018. 

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You, to Maggie’s 
Hospice of Prescott, who provided loving end-of-life care for 
Georgian.
