Loren James Peterson passed away on March 18, 2018, at his home in
Prescott Valley, Arizona, surrounded by loved ones. Loren was born
on Oct. 27, 1955, in Harmony, Minnesota.

Loren and his family moved from Minnesota to Prescott Valley in
1971. Loren graduated from Prescott High School in 1974 and worked
various jobs in Prescott Valley, until he and his wife, Tracey,
started his own freight company L&T Freight in 1987, serving many
businesses in the tri-cities for over 30 years. Loren retired and
closed L&T Freight in 2017.

Loren’s infectious smile, large persona and gentle soul touched
everyone he met. Loren was a dedicated husband, father, friend and
businessman.

Loren was met in heaven by his mother and father, Ruth and LaVerne
Peterson, and his wife of over 25 years, Tracey Peterson, who passed
away in 2009.

Loren is survived by his loving family. He leaves behind Cheryl
Hanks, who he loved and who was an angel to his family, providing
love and caring for him in his time of need. His children, Danelle
Kelling (Damon), Eddie Bogan, Tony Larson (Lindsey), Luke Peterson,
Tiffany Stoks (Josh), Willy Peterson and Leah Bailey; his adoring
grandchildren: Christian, Bryce, Dylan, Aythan, Shawnah, Tristin,

Loren lived life his way to the very end and his presence will be
missed. His legacy continues in his children, family and friends.

His wishes were for those who loved him to gather not in sadness but
in celebration of his life, his love, his friendship and his
stories. Saying goodbye was never quick for Loren and there was
always more to say, therefore, his family will be hosting a
celebration in his honor on April 14th at his home. A formal
celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. with the festivities
beginning at 1 p.m.
