| Weekly Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, February 3, 1909, page 7, column 6 Charles Humphreys Dead Charles Humphreys is dead. He succumbed to Bright's disease after an illness of three years at his home in Senator at 1:30 o'clock Friday morning. Mr. Humphreys was 54 years old and a native of Wales. He emigrated to the United States at an early age, settling in Pennsylvania. He resided in this county since 1882, following the occupation of miner. Surviving he leaves his wife and one son, James Humphreys, both of whom were with him when the end came. The sympathy of the community goes to those he leaves behind in their irreparable loss of a loving and indulgent husband and father. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the chapel of the Maus and Shannon undertaking establishment. Interment will be in the Citizen's Cemetery.
